This report shows the average draft position for each player that was drafted in the online draft module in Fantasy Commissioner Web for all drafts, as well as players drafted in PEDS (for those leagues that uploaded the draft results from PEDS to Fantasy Commissioner Web). This can be a very useful report to printout and bring to your draft. For example, if you have a player ranked #14 on your own ranking list, but this report has him ranked #40, it would be a good idea to not draft him in the 2nd round, but instead wait until the 3rd round or even the 4th round as he will very likely be around at that time, and you can instead get another player who you have ranked high and who would not likely be available in the next round.
The columns in the report are explained below:
- 7DAY column is the draft position difference from 7 days ago. Positive number means player has been getting drafted sooner in the past week. Negative number means player has been getting drafted later in the past week
- Draft Pct column is the percentage of drafts a player was picked in
Some notes:
- We only counted leagues that have finished their draft, and that have made more than 75 picks
- We only list players picked in at least 10% of the drafts
- A player not picked in a draft will not count against his average
- This report is updated each night at 11:00pm EST
